Hounslow Council wants to make sure that all its communities have a stronger voice in decisions that affect them. The council have asked us at Involve to run a Citizens’ Jury made up of Hounslow residents to consider the important question:
How can Hounslow Council consult and engage residents in radically different ways?
The Jury will hear how communities have been brought into council decision-making elsewhere, consider the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches, and make recommendations to the council. These recommendations will inform radical changes in how the council consults and engages residents to ensure all voices are heard and shape decisions about the issues which matter to them.
If you’re a Hounslow resident, you could be one of the 15 people selected to take part in the Hounslow Citizens’ Jury.
If you would like to take part in the Jury, please register your interest by midnight on 17th December. You can register by clicking here or by using the link below.
