Andrew became a trustee of Involve in 2023. He is the Secretary General of the European Small Business Alliance and founder of his own communications consultancy —The Good Fight — which works with charities, not-for-profit organisations, and companies achieve positive change.
He has over twenty years' experience working in politics in the UK, EU and around the world, also serving as the chief spokesperson and head of policy for the Federation of Small Businesses during the Global Financial Crisis. Andrew also led communications in Europe for Philip Morris International, directing many of its initiatives to move away from cigarettes.
Andrew has worked with organisations like the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to deliver capacity building programmes in emerging democracies, as well as leading community-based grassroots campaigns across the UK. He is currently working on a project to equip young people from low-income backgrounds with communication skills needed to raise their voice and play an active part in shaping the world around them.
In addition to his work with Involve, Andrew is an Independent Director at the Sortition Foundation, which is reinvigorate democracy by working with local councils, national parliaments, and other organisations to adopt Citizens' Assemblies.
