Busted: The information given to a Citizens’ Assembly is designed by an Advisory group made up of experts from all sides of the debate. Independent experts, who have no agenda around the subject matter, but are professionals in process design, again make sure that the makeup of the group is transparent and balanced. All the evidence the Assembly sees is put online, transparently. The Assembly isn’t about quick reactions - it runs for several weekends so that all questions are considered in depth, and Assembly members can ask for additional information as they go along.
