photo by keith parkThis Saturday, September 26, 2009, World Wide Views on Climate Change UK will offer a possibility to discuss and share citizens’ positions on key issues in preparation for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen.

The meeting in Kettering is only one of 45 meetings in 38 countries (please see our interactive map here) which compose the World Wide Views international network.

As The United Nations Development Program said in their letter of support,
“… citizens, businesses, and non-governmental organisations need to engage in identifying and implementing the right solutions.” In this spirit, World Wide Views on Climate Change UK seeks to participate in this global consultation on global climate policy by bringing forward UK citizens’ views on the four key themes.

We encourage you to participate in this deliberative process by following us here on this blog and through our Twitter feed. We are only two days away from this important event.

Please read the World Wide Views Press Release here.
