Steff joined Involve as an Engagement Lead in February 2024.
Steff is a professional capacity builder with over 17 years’ experience of designing programmes and tools that facilitate participation and engagements in organisations with a focus on place-based engagement.
Before joining Involve Steff worked at New Local, working closely with their network of local authorities, including leading a practice network for senior officers, a rising stars programme, and in-depth peer learning modules.
Steff was the first member of staff at the People’s Powerhouse, a public participation organisation in the North of England that works to bring people of the North together to discuss, explore, share and raise the ideas and issues that ordinary Northerners face.
A strong advocate for community spaces and places to be proud of, outside of work Steff is Chair of her local community centre. She is also an avid Manchester United and Vimto fan.
