Daisy joined Involve as Engagement Lead in 2023. She is a civil servant by background, with over eight years experience of public engagement in contested policy areas.
Her work in government includes projects on disability support at Department for Work and Pensions, devolved tax policy in the Welsh Government, and on court reform for HMCTS. Daisy worked as private secretary to the Brexit minister in 2018, before taking a role in Grenfell recovery at DLUHC, where she developed the strategy for government decision-making on Grenfell Tower and supported the community-led process to agree a future memorial.
Daisy’s recent MPhil examined climate policy in the public forum, and included participatory research with the community impacted by the 1966 Aberfan Disaster.
Outside of work, you can find Daisy campaigning for more honest climate politics, learning Welsh, and making amateur art.
